We’re looking for a Business Development Executive for a fantastic travel company whose target clientele are large corporate companies that travel frequently for business.

This Business Development Executive position will draw deep on your ability to select and research a potential client, primarily from an extensive database of leads, formulating a meaningful and comprehensive plan for approaching your target audience.  There’s no “one size fits all” method to sales and you’ll play to your own strengths and be given the freedom and support to do just that.

You’ll be talking to your clients about their current methods of booking business travel, understanding their needs, their struggles right now and their vision for future travel plans. You’ll be an active listener, not focused on skipping to the good bit (where they bite your hand off to book a meeting of course!) and you’ll really show them why your company can deliver so much value right from the offset. You’ll be able to talk confidently and share all the amazing benefits there are to working with you, and, as you’ll be the first representation of this company your potential client has come in to contact with, you’ll be polite, professional and engaging all they way.

The role of Business Development Executive is focused on booking QUALITY meetings. This isn’t a numbers game nor a call centre telesales environment. This is a targeted, thought out and professional sales position which can lead to a multitude of career opportunities for you within this global business.

Ideally you’ll have some sales, business development or meetings generator experience but if you haven’t, we’ll leave it to you to demonstrate your suitability for the role when we speak to you!  Once in the role you’ll have all the support and training you need but success in a role such as this will come from your own personal desire to achieve your goals and an understanding of how to break down barriers.

The position is based in London and is Monday- Friday. Initially you’ll be in the office 5 days a week, there may be the potential in the future (depending on performance) to work to a hybrid model.
